Resource List for Online Success
I would like to share my top 4 resources that have created online success for me.
I have recently downgraded my huge advertisement in our local telephone book and have decided to put my advertising dollars into more local marketing since INTERNET is fast becoming my #1 way to be found.
1. Constant Contact
Easy to use. Awesome photo gallery. Tons of templates. Relatively inexpensive ($35/mo) I am also excited to begin using their Event Planning Program which has all kinds of bells and whistle’s but namely allows your attendees to register and PREPAY online. Newsletters are a GREAT way to connect with your audience and create that fan base.
2. Network Solutions
Again, easy to use. EXCELLENT customer service. Variety of templates. Blog incorporated into website. Website Optimization with each page created.
I must comment that ever since I moved from GoDaddy to Network Solutions I get 5 times the traffic. Not sure what the difference is but I do know it works better for me than what I had. And it’s all about RESULTS.
3. Social Media: FB, Linkedin, Twitter
My main squeeze is FB which is linked to the other two and has really simplified my life. I do recommend having a separate personal page from your business page just for security purposes and if you’re a newbie baby steps are important otherwise you’ll get overwhelmed and stop doing everything.
Love youtube. Such a crazy idea that rocketed to fame. I send my clients to youtube all the time and they appreciate the hands on learning it provides. I also have a few hypnosis videos posted and one of my NYR is to create several more for 2011. I even got invited to get paid because one of my videos gets so many hits.
Overall, internet marketing is worth the time and effort. My latest goal is the Ultimate Blog Challenge so I can create a routine and find my “blog” voice. It’s working. After 8 posts I am really beginning to enjoy this instead of having it be another thing on my to do list. I love the randomness of it all. I never know what my fingers will type out – almost like a ouji board, okay I said ALMOST! ♥
