Afraid of Being Alone

Welcome to Channeling: Archangel Metatron Speaks

Greetings.  I am Metatron.  I am excited to share with you messages from beyond, to help you find balance, order and peace here on this earth.

Speaker:  Metatron, there’s been family loss, job loss, stress, negativity and now my husband is going to be moving away for a job while I am staying behind.  This is affecting my health and I  would really like to know if all these changes are positive for me, for us.  What’s this all about?

Metatron:  Thank you.  We are glad you are here.  We are encouraged that you have asked for assistance.  We understand that this is a very difficult time for you and for your husband.  There is a process that needs to be experienced with this difficulty.  As much as you can stay in alignment and not get caught up into fear and worry, it will make this experience easier for you.

We ask what is your biggest fear?

Speaker:   Hoping it works out for him because I know he’s been depressed….I haven’t been alone for a while.

Metatron:  Your biggest fear is being alone?  Yes?

Speaker:  Yes.

Metatron:  Yes.  This is the experience that has come into your time here now.  How do you make peace with being alone?

Speaker:  Actually I’m going to have more time to meditate and pray.  I’m looking at the positives, doing the things I like and taking the time to do them.

Metatron:  Yes.  When you speak of making peace with being alone by meditating and focusing on positive things and having opportunities for doing things that you hadn’t before when your husband was there, we sense a wholeness and a completeness, a feeling of being in alignment.

There will be moments when the darkness will come and the fear of being alone will surround you.  Look for us.  We will be a spark of light.  If you cannot see us, light a candle because we are there with you always, even in your darkest hour.  Know that each day, you will get stronger and stronger.  There is a transformation that you will go through during this experience.

We see a picture of a wilted flower, dried up from too much sun and each day as you water that flower with meditation and joyful experiences and being at peace with being alone, that flower gets stronger and grows brighter.  Now we see a whole bouquet of flowers blossoming and blooming as you move into who you are.

Your fear of being alone is simply a reminder of your disconnection when you dropped down into this body.

When you understand the source of that fear, it is knowledge and information that dissolves the darkness and allows the light to grow stronger.

The loneliness, the fear of being alone, actually doesn’t even come from your husband leaving.

Each of you has that seed within your soul.  Many have overcome that feeling; many have not.  It is the point at which you were disconnected from God, from the universe, from the spiritual realm and you dropped down into this body.

Your memory was completely wiped and you started anew.

Part of your evolution is to remember that you are never alone, that you are not disconnected from God, that God is in you, within your being and God will never leave you.  When you come back to that source and understand the truth, instead of believing the lie, that is where your true peace lies.

We hope you have found value in this discussion.  Do you need clarification or do you have other questions on this topic?

Speaker:  I guess I just hope the job itself is going to be positive?

Metatron:  You ask if his job will be a positive experience for him?  That is up to his perception of the experience that happens, whether he chooses to view it positively or negatively.  It is out of your control whether that experience will be positive for him.

It is within your control whether that experience will be positive for you.

As much as you can, stay in love, knowing that God is always bringing experiences to you and to all of those around you, for their highest good, letting go of the need for it to be positive or negative and surrendering.

Whatever experience he has is the experience that he needs right now for his growth.

Yes.  We thank you tonight for your questions.

We are constantly here at attention, ready to jump when asked.  Please do not be afraid to ask for our help.  That is why we are here, to make this journey easier for you with our love, with our constant support, with our light.

I am Metatron and I have spoken.

As always I love your post but what really stood out for me this time is what Archangel Metatron said-that he is “encouraged” by people asking for advice. I think that is really right on (I mean it should be, because he is, after all, an *angel*) but I love the way he phrased it because its so true-taking the initiative to ask for guidance, advice, or counsel is the most essential step!

Your comments about loneliness and disconnection remind me of how we talk about attachment in yoga. When you’re attached to something — an outcome, a situation, a person — it always means suffering. But to let it go offers freedom and the space to enjoy it while it’s here.

Thanks for sharing that Jessica – I’m a huge fan of Buddha and the Four Noble Truths: 1 – Life means suffering.
2 – The origin of suffering is attachment.
3 – Freedom from suffering is possible.
4 – The way out of suffering is to follow the path.

I loved the wilted flower imagery… I really need to think of my spiritual practice as fundamentally as I drink water… resonated as usual

Your post is beautiful. Completely reminded me of the importance of feeling connected and to remember, when I’m down, I am surrounded by angels. Wow. Needed to read this today.

    Thank you. Very timely.

Julie.. I found this so comforting right now.. on many levels and for many reasons that I won’t go into right now. But as Share mentioned, it’s always comforting to be reminded (over and over for me) that we are never alone, that angelic presence is so close and so available and that if we had any idea how loved and protected we were.. well, I am not sure why it’s so hard to sustain this knowing, but I guess there is something in us/me that just believes in our separation. Anyways, thank you.. reading this tonite was a blessing.
    Love to you , Lisa

I agree Lisa, it’s so hard to sustain this knowing, and yet such a simple truth. Surrounding you with love and light as I feel our connection deepen. ♥

Your articles, Julie, are always so comforting, love this
“We are constantly here at attention, ready to jump when asked. Please do not be afraid to ask for our help. That is why we are here, to make this journey easier for you with our love, with our constant support, with our light.”

I should say that I don’t feel lonely, I love being alone, it helps thinking and creating, though sometimes it becomes scary from the thought that I’m on my own (responsible for my kids) and their well-being solely depends on me, then I remind myself “I’m not alone. I’m being helped and guided”.

“Your fear of being alone is simply a reminder of your disconnection when you dropped down into this body. ” This is so true! I think I mentioned that I am a student of A Course In Miracles + it often speaks of the reminder the body + the mind serve the spirit not the other way around + when we sink into the body we also sink into ego mindedness. The body is simply a vehicle for the soul + spirit to do its work. Thank you for this!

What an interesting channeling – had me thinking and realizing I’m the opposite of that woman who was afraid of being alone. Hmmmm…

Julie, “Balance” is the word that caught my eye in the first paragraph of your post. And that is what I felt happening as I read through the rest of it. Needed & appreciated, thank you for this service.

Great post about not being in control of the experiences of others, of what fear can do to us, and how easy it is to ask for help:) Thank you.

Oh, fear is such a bugger. I say dive right into it…and perhaps the alone feeling will come, but in the long run you will be glad you did it!
