I just finished reading Seth Speaks: Eternal Validity of the Soul by Jane Roberts.   

Jane Roberts channels an entity names Seth with the help of her husband.

Channeling means to allow another energy to speak through you.  We are all channels of love, of light, of peace.  We often channel words of wisdom and insights directly from angels, guides, and God if you will.

Some people are very uncomfortable with the idea of channeling.  I encourage you to explore this book if you are looking to learn more about channeling and how spiritual guides are trying to assist us in our understanding of humanity and the function of ego.

This book is a little bit more technical than I personally like but it was plum full of lots of information, some new, some old on the nature of reality and our purpose as human beings.
