So, you’ve been hearing all the hype about meditation for sometime now but really what’s the big deal? It’s like exercising…just one more thing I have to put on my “to do” list. Let me give you 3 compelling reasons why you should be meditating:
1. It will give you MORE time in your day not less.
I know hard to believe but true. Meditation expands time. I didn’t believe this so I did my own personal study and guess what? It works! I found that I was not only calmer and more relaxed but I seemed to have a better handle on all the tasks I needed to complete no more running in circles on the hamster wheel. It’s quite incredible. Time just seems endless.
2. It will give you more energy.
Yeah, sure it will, was my thought when I heard that one. Of course it will give me more energy because it’s called “nap time.” And again I had to do it for myself to really believe it. So in the afternoon or after dinner when all I wanted to do was curl up on the couch with my pillow and blanky I meditated instead. Meditation actually isn’t designed to relax you (that’s just a side effect). Meditation is designed to rejuvenate you. If you find yourself falling asleep EVERY time you meditate try sitting on the floor or in a straight backed chair. For my evening meditation I like to listen to a guided meditation recording. Helps me focus my busy mind on someone else’s voice and words.
3. It will improve your quality of life.
Who doesn’t want a better quality of life? As human beings we vibrate at the frequency of 207. Meditation helps to raise your vibration to love or above; love is a vibrational frequency of 500, enlightenment zooms all the way up to 1000!! When we are vibrating at love or above everything in our life becomes easy and effortless. Changing our vibrational frequency has the power to truly transform our lives.
